Cockington wander

Cockignton is 420 acres ! Mentioned in the Doomsday Book (1086) when the estate was called Cochintona. Apart from a few brief intervals it has been owned by only three families since (The De Cockingtons, Carys and Mallocks) before being sold to Torbay counil in the 1940s. Lovely to wander through the lakes, meadowns and forest spotting thatched builidngs as you go.
